It is not uncommon for there to be shortcomings with Stagger flasks when it comes to moulding equipment. This is particularly problematic for flaskless moulding lines, as the stagger mould and the expansion of the mould are intrinsic issues associated with flaskless moulding. Some flaskless moulding processes have a staggering of up to 10mm, which can significantly impact the quality and consistency of the final product. Due to the presence of locating pins in the flask, the staggered flask is often considerably smaller, reaching 1-3mm in some cases. This is typically the result of factors such as wear, positioning failure, and excessive positioning. To illustrate, the existing moulding machine necessitates multiple positioning, and the cumulated errors of these positioning operations will result in an increase of the stagger flask. In particular, in the moulding machine for pattern compacting, the positioning pin is situated above the formwork frame, and the staggered flask becomes larger. The zero-fault box moulding technology developed by ABM (or called zero-fault box moulding technology) can fully resolve this issue.
